The Wonders of Tingko Beach Resort - Alcoy, Cebu

This trip was taken last year 2012 but since I started to love blogging my gateways, I decided to make one for this.

Considering one of my most unforgettable escapades though last option na lng ang pag.anhi still I made it to a point that i'll be enjoying the moment with the rest of the gang..  The orginal plan was to go to Camotes Island, then it was changed going to Medillen then again, na.change na pd until we, as in we, my station mates decided to go somewhere near and a pocket-friendly place that is still perfect for the summer, which is the Tingko Beach Resort in Alcoy, Cebu. It is located somewhere in South.

Tingko Beach has a long white-sand shore with crystal blue water that suits anyone's taste for summer.

 Transportation:

Going to Alcoy is as easy as 1+1=2.  You can catch a bus in Cebu South  Terminal(beside E-mall) going to Alcoy. Actually, dghan mn mgshagit2x ddto so just ask unsa nga bus ang una mularga.  The biyahe will only take 2-3hrs including unloadling and loading of passengers.  Regular fare at the time was 117.00pesos then since we looked-like students ky cute2x mn mi, we told the condoctor nga SP mi. But mura ra wlay epek ang pgka SP ky ang gipangayo nga plite ky 116.00pesos..hahaha..meaning peso ra ang discount.  Just inform the condoctor nga sa Tingko Beach lng hunong. Well-known nmn jd na nga beach resort ddto so it is like .01% nga masaag mu. hahaha....
Once you got off from the bus, there are two entrance going to the beach from the road, public entrance(for free) and the private one(with fee for 10pesos). hahaha...so dapat mgbantay ka and try to read signs jd. Reading and Comprehension is a must!

Rooms and Cottages:

There is nothing to worry if you for got to bring your camping tent or you don't have one since daghan rooms available didto.  Its just that, if summer fully-booked jd tanan.(for those who wanted mg.over night) If day trip lng, cottages and table for minimal fees are available. In our case, since it was my first time to be out of town i don't have an idea unsaon pghangyo...puro lang ku pa-cute2x didto....hahaha...someone approached us and offer his tent(kanang atop lng walay bong2x) for 1000(wala ka kuyapi??)....wla dayon ku nikagat though gikapoy ku sa biyahe nia init pa jd pag.abot ku udto na...i asked for inclusions. nakig negotiate ko nia...ng.pa-cute2x ming tanan until we have agreed : 1 tent, 2 tables, 6 monoblock chairs, 1 teheras(folding bed) and free use of their CR ug pwde nku mg.build sa akong tent for free. Funny kay free use of cr pero you need to pay for the water...hahaha...(naisahan ako doon ah :D)

my tent is only good for 1 pero believe it or not, 3 persons ang naigo when the night came......

Fun in the Beach:

Once you got to the beach, you can't say no to the crystal blue water nga mura ug ngdala ug "come here" moves. I don't have a gifted complexion, so normally i don't go to beaches if init or maligo ug udtong tutuk...but mura ug nakalimot ku, ditso timpasaw oi..hahaha
Since it has a large wide area, you can do whatever you want to do.  You can play volleyball (ball is for rent), run around like dogs, langoy2x ug snorkle2x pd.

if you want to see the entire Tingko Beach Resort, a motorboat is available for hire.  I forgot the price since we got it for FREE.  we sailed, witnessed and  amazed how nice the resort is.

if you are in the beach, dili pwede wala'y jumpshot...hahaha
nice to be a kid once in awhile...
i doubt if someone can resist not to have a quick plunge in to the beach
 "pa-ugnat sa kusog"

as sun rises, the moon sets......

an epic sunrise scene from Tingko Beach @_@.....

so much of the fun under the sun, i almost forgot about the FOOD.  it is a must to bring your own food(bawn) though naa daghan tindahan pero mdyo muhilak imung bulsa...so pra maka tipid, just bring a lot of foods.

As the saying goes, "ang hindi lumingon sa pinanggagalingan ay hindi makakarating sa paroroonan". meaning its time to hit the road going home...hahaha...

a day full of fun and adventure and thrill.  A summer to remember with good friends, indeed!

more to come.....for sure!
